This application facilitates the electronic collection of classroom and school visit observation data, as well as results from pupil assessments. The application integrates the ability to register time-and location-data (GPS) that attaches to the observation information captured to validate school visits activities. Pupil assessments are pre-formatted and fully aligned with PRIMR materials. Results from assessments are instantly combined with classroom observation data for a rich feedback report to facilitate reflections between the TAC Tutor/coaches and teachers observed.
Tangerine:Tutor also encrypts and facilitates the uploading of this data to a central server. On the server, results are being aggregated, by school and zone (not pupil), and customized reports highlighting key indicators of pupil progress, sent to County Staffing Officers and County Directors. This allows for ongoing monitoring of pupil progress and for timely targeted support (e.g., through additional school visits or professional development) to schools, teachers or TAC Tutors as needed.
