Short Description
A tool to create local mirrors of GitHub repositories
Full Description

Supported tags and respective Dockerfile links

Run your own GitHub mirror

Assuming you have git user already created:

docker pull andrewslotin/doppelganger
docker run -d --name doppelganger -e DOPPELGANGER_GITHUB_TOKEN=<YOUR_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN> -v /home/git:/var/mirrors -p 8081:8081 andrewslotin/doppelganger

Now repository mirrors are accessible as git@<doppelganger-host>:<owner>/<name>

Note: an HTTP authorization for anything except /apihook might be a good idea. /apihook should be accessible without authentication from GitHub IPs.

For more details refer to Doppelganger.

To learn about other ways to run Doppelganger, such as the use of docker-compose, check Dockerganger README.
