The latest kdenlive based on Debian unstable image, this docker image is intended for users with systems from 2014 and older. Have fun.
Make sure you have installed;
apt install x11-xserver-utils
Also before you run the container, you might have to run
Run it with:
$ docker pull ark74/kdenlive
$ docker run -it -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix -v $HOME/Videos:/videos -e DISPLAY=unix$DISPLAY --name knl ark74/kdenlive
You might wanna use the device options to enable sound and hw acceletarion on graphic cards (Intel only), since you'll be editing video on this software:
Also sound is an option, for ALSA:
note that sound might get disabled on your host machine until you close the container.
Finally it could look like:
sudo docker run -it -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix -v $HOME/Vídeos:/videos --device=/dev/dri --device=/dev/snd -e DISPLAY=unix$DISPLAY --name knl ark74/kdenlive
Please note that you'll have to use your Videos folder in order to work files for editing, also make sure you save changes, because if you close the app, you'll loose unsaved work.
