There are three related types of Docker images for ACAP 3 in the axiecp repository:

• Combined ACAP SDK image acap-sdk (main)
• Toolchain image acap-toolchain
• API image acap-api

N.B. The acap-sdk⁠ image is the only recommended for build of applications.

⁠ACAP

AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP)⁠, is an open platform supported by most Axis cameras. The platform enables developers to develop applications that can be downloaded and installed on Axis network cameras and video encoders.
