Short Description
Run the OpeNER webservices locally using Docker
Full Description

OpeNER components in Docker

OpeNER provides language tools like tokenizers, a language identifier and Named Entity Recognition. This image, using bencomp/devbase-rvm, provides all of these tools as webservices.

Usage

You need a MySQL database called opener_development and MySQL needs to listen on port 3306 (the default). You may use a Docker container for this, although container linking does not seem to work. If you use boot2docker, these commands should get you up and running:

$ docker run -d -p 3306:3306 --name opener-mysql -e MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD=secret -e MYSQL_DATABASE=opener_development mysql
$ docker run -e DB_PASS=secret -e DB_USER=root -e DB_HOST=192.168.59.103 -p 9292:9292 -ti bencomp/opener-basic

If all goes well, the OpeNER webservices will then listen at http://192.168.59.103:9292/.
