Get docker and docker-compose

Follow those instructions:

Install Docker for Mac (it also installs docker-compose):

MongoDB, RabbitMQ and Redis

Go into the docker directory and, depending of your preference, you can use one of the following command:

  • docker-compose -f docker-compose.yml up -d creates containers for each required backend software (the containers are not restarted automatically, you have to re-run this command)
  • docker-compose -f docker-compose-restart-always.yml up -d does the same thing as above, expect the created containers will restart automatically with your computer

Note that the -d will run them in background, you can remove it if you want your terminal to be attached to the containers.
