Short Description
Python 2.7 + OpenCV (3.1.0)
Full Description

Python 2.7 + OpenCV for grabbing images and video

for running a container with access to host /dev/video0 and mounting host:/root/image on /data:

docker run -ti -P --name data -v /root/image:/data --privileged -v /dev/video0:/dev/video0 cogodocker/pyopencv bash

then you can grab images with python opencv
e.g.

from cv2 import *
cam = VideoCapture(0)

s, img = cam.read()
if s:
imwrite("image.bmp", img)
else:
print "Error"

If you are running docker behind a proxy then take a look at:
