Docker image based on phusion/baseimage-docker adding the node js runtime without the full blown phusion passenger.
Why Use This Image
To utilize the befinits of phusion/baseimage-docker when building a container to run a node js application but not have to use one of the phusion passanger images.
How To Use
- Base your image on this using the
FROMstatement in your dockerfile.
- Add your application code and resolve any dependencies using
- Add one or more service scripts in
EXPOSEany ports needed.
That's it - now you can run your node js application in a docker container. There is a sample applicaiton in the repo in the sample folder that shows how it can be used.
