Deep dream installed with cpu (2 cores, no gpu).

Instructions on how to run Deep Dream Video

  1. Copy a mp4 file to the transfer directory.
  2. Start Docker instance (if you're on Windows, remember to add an extra "/" before your local transfer dir):
    docker run -i -t -v {your local transfer dir}:/transfer ekkus93/deepdream /bin/bash
  3. Run the following commands:
cd /opt/DeepDreamVideo

#make input and output frame directories
mkdir /transfer/inframes
mkdir /transfer/outframes

# extract frames from video
./1_movie2frames.sh ffmpeg /transfer/<your video> /transfer/inframes jpg

# process each frame with deep dream (this might take a long time)
python 2_dreaming_time.py -i /transfer/inframes -o /transfer/outframes --model_path /opt/caffe/models/bvlc_googlenet/ --model_name bvlc_googlenet.caffemodel -it jpg

# stitch back together all of the processed frames and add back the audio
./3_frames2movie.sh ffmpeg /transfer/outframes /transfer/<your video> jpg
