The base image of the CONCOCT Dockerfile was changed from ubuntu:14.04 to debian:8.
The only extra configuration needed to build the image (besides changing the FROM instruction), was increasing the RAM memory of the boot2docker virtual machine. To do this, the virtual machine had to be initiated specifying the -m flag:
boot2docker init -m 4096 #(the default is 2048)
Given that the original Dockerfile installs several programs for the processing, assembling and mapping of the sequences (e.g. velvet, bedtools, samtools, bowtie), a smaller version of the Dockerfile was created only containing CONCOCT and its dependencies:
