Espen's MySQL rig

Dockerfile and build resources for this image is published on GitHub: https://github.com/espena/docker/tree/master/mysql

MySQL community server with a collection of user-defined functions for statistics, GIS, regular expression matching etc. The following libraries are installed:

MySQL-Spatial-UDF

This is a comprehensive set of GIS functions written by Albert Rovira. Available under GPL from GitHub: https://github.com/krandalf75/MySQL-Spatial-UDF

This library adds "missing" geospatial functions to MySQL and creates a very capable GIS database environment. MySpatialUDF is enabled by running /build/MySQL-Spatial-UDF/MySpatialUDF.sql from within the target database.

MySQL Infusion UDF

The MySQL Infusion UDF is written by Robert Eisele. It is a functionality enhancement for MySQL, providing a variety of new string, math and aggregate functions. It is published under GPL: https://github.com/infusion/udf_infusion

Infusion UDF is enabled by running /build/udf_infusion/load.sql from within the target database.

lib_mysqludf_preg

A library that provide access to the PCRE (perl compatible-regular-expressions) library for pattern matching. The PCRE library is a set of functions that implement regular expression pattern matching using the same syntax and semantics as Perl 5. Available under GPL on GitHub: https://github.com/mysqludf/lib_mysqludf_preg

lib_mysqludf_preg is enabled by running /build/lib_mysqludf_preg/installdb.sql from within the target database.
