This is a simple angularjs administration interface for the example policy server available at
ianmorty/policy. The services can also be fronted with a reverse proxy e.g.
Example run command
docker run -d -e "VIRTUAL_HOST=ui.local" -v /home/myuser/policy_config:/home/policy/policy_server/ui/config -t -i ianmorty/policy-ui /sbin/my_init -- bash -l
ui.local will resolve to the IP of the docker host (if using boot2docker, run
boot2docker ip to see the actual IP used) and
/home/myuser/policy_config will be a directory created locally (
/home/myuser/policy_config) and mounted inside the container at
/home/policy/policy_server/ui/config. This local directory should contain a file called
config.js that should contain a single line stating the server address of the policy server as follows (don't forget the trailing semi-colon)
server_address = "policy.local";
Editing your local hosts file is usually sufficient to get this working along with the suggested reverse proxy command:
docker run -d -p 80:80 -v /var/run/docker.sock:/tmp/docker.sock jwilder/nginx-proxy and then visiting
ui.local in your browser.
