OPENFIRE 4.0.3

RUN

To run this container use the following command. At this point, you need to open the bash of that container in order to run Openfire.

docker run -it -d --name openfire -p 3478:3478 -p 3479:3479  -p 5222:5222 -p 5223:5223 -p 5229:5229 -p 7070:7070 -p 7443:7443 -p 7777:7777 -p 9090:9090 -p 9091:9091 imjesr/openfire bash

START OPENFIRE

To start Openfire run the following command inside the container terminal

./opt/openfire/bin/openfire start

STOP OPENFIRE

To stop Openfire run the following command inside the container terminal

./opt/openfire/bin/openfire stop

LINK TO MYSQL

If you want to use an external database make sure you add the --link command (documentation)

docker run -it -d --name openfire -p 3478:3478 -p 3479:3479  -p 5222:5222 -p 5223:5223 -p 5229:5229 -p 7070:7070 -p 7443:7443 -p 7777:7777 -p 9090:9090 -p 9091:9091 --link mysql_container:tag imjesr/openfire bash

Use the docker inspect mysql_container to retrieve the docker local network IP and use it to stablish the conection from Openfire's setup wizard.
