C3 Listener Build Environment / SDK

Running the development container

  1. Install Docker (docker.com)
  2. git clone git://github.com/JayconSystems/c3l-dev-kit.git
  3. cd c3l-dev-kit
  4. docker run -it --rm -v .:/home/openwrt/openwrt jayconsystems/c3l-dev-kit

--or--

  1. Install Docker (docker.com)
  2. git clone git://github.com/JayconSystems/c3l-dev-kit.git
  3. cd c3l-dev-kit
  4. docker build -t c3l-dev-kit .
  5. docker run -it --rm -v .:/home/openwrt/openwrt c3l-dev-kit

Building the Complete Firmware Image

Once you're at the dev. container shell:

  1. ./scripts/feeds update -a
  2. ./scripts/feeds install libconfig
  3. ./scripts/feeds install libexpat
  4. ./scripts/feeds install libiconv
  5. ./scripts/feeds install libintl
  6. make menuconfig (Required, even if no changes save on exit)
  7. make defconfig
  8. make V=s (will take a while)
  9. Output is ./bin/ar71xx/*sysupgrade*

(Re)Building a specific package

Once you're at the dev. container shell:

  1. make package/<pkg_name>/{clean,compile}
  2. Output is in ./bin/ar71xx/packages
