Full Description

To start a simple mongodb instance as a background service, use the following command:

docker run -d -p 27017:27017 --name snp-mongodb jlgrock/snp-prototype-mongodb

To test, you can execute the following command to open a mongo shell that is connected to the server instance:

docker run -it --link snp-mongodb:mongo --rm mongo sh -c 'exec mongo "$MONGO_PORT_27017_TCP_ADDR:$MONGO_PORT_27017_TCP_PORT/test"'

To remove your image after you are done with it, run the following command:

docker rm snp-mongodb
