This container simply runs /usr/bin/socat as the ENTRYPOINT and takes any parameters you provide for the CMD.
I use this container to stand up a secure TLS tunnel between a container on my local machine and a container on another Docker host which bind mounts /var/run/docker.sock so I can interact with the remote Docker host from my local command line.
There are cooler ways to do this (I.e. docker-machine) but I wasn't able to get my existing Ubuntu VMs running Docker to integrate nicely with docker-machine.. I'm sure the problem was me, but I couldn't find a good guide to explain how to do it.
