A Superscript slack bot under Docker
Full Description

A Superscript slack bot under Docker.

Based on "Slack + SuperScript — Rise of the Bots"

The Dockerfile downloads the latest version from github, builds and installs it,
and then creates a slack bot with it. I added a custom version of the server.js which
gets its mongo connection details and slack token from the environment.

Start it like this:

echo 'SLACKBOT_TOKEN=my-token-goes-here' > env-file

docker run --name mybot-mongo -e SLACKBOT_TOKEN:$SLACKBOT_TOKEN -d mongo
docker run -t -i --link mybot-mongo:mongo --env-file=env-file makuk66/docker-superscriptjs /bin/bash
bash /home/ssjs/slackbot/

This is just a demo. If you want to use this for anything useful, you'll want to build
on it to have the bot do more interesting things, and create a docker image with that,
with an apporpriate CMD entry.

The docker container is available as an automated build from the registry.
