Short Description
simple docker project for dnsmasq
Full Description

docker-dnsmasq

simple docker project for dnsmasq

Instruction

This image is based on Alpine Linux.

Default usage:

docker run --name dns-server -d --restart=always -v /path/to/althosts:/etc/althosts -p 53:53 -p 53:53/udp mkdym/dnsmasq
or
docker run --name dns-server -d --restart=always -v /path/to/althosts:/etc/althosts --net=host mkdym/dnsmasq

You can add domain to /path/to/althosts like:

192.168.1.10 www.xxoo.com

Need restart container if /path/to/althosts changed.

You can append command, whatever dnsmasq allows, to docker run, because the image's entrypoint is /usr/sbin/dnsmasq, so you can see help using docker run --rm mkdym/dnsmasq --help.

Default command is ["-d", "-h", "-q"], see Dockerfile.
