Full Description

This is a Dockerfile setup for couchpotato -

By default this Docker installs the latest stable version of CouchPotato:

docker run -d --net="host" --name="couchpotato" -v /path/to/couchpotato/data:/config -v /path/to/downloads:/downloads -v /path/to/movies:/movies -v /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro -p 5050:5050 needo/couchpotato


If you would like to run the latest updates from the master branch as well as enable in-app updates run:

docker run -d --net="host" --name="couchpotato" -v /path/to/couchpotato/data:/config -v /path/to/downloads:/downloads -v /path/to/movies:/movies -v /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro -e EDGE=1 -p 5050:5050 needo/couchpotato

Docker compose

To run plex with docker-compose clone the repository and run:

docker-compose up -d

I have the same problem with black hole not working due to permission errors, anyone know how to fix that?

Since the process is run as nobody, balckhole downloader will try to write to /downloads which is owned by root and will fail.

Problem connecting to TorrentLeech with CouchPotato.

Here is the error message I get:

Note, the username and password are correct, what could be the problem?

I suppose it is: /path/to/downloads:/downloads
