A set of Jupyter/IPython notebooks developed as proof-of-concept for use in undergraduate education in civil engineering (structural engineering). They include problems solved in introductory structural analysis (cive3203), in the design of structural steel components (cive3205), and in matrix analysis of structures (matrix-methods). These were developed for use at Carleton University in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, but have not yet been extensively used by students.
This is intended to be run via:
docker run -d -p 8888:8888 nholtz/cee-notebook
This exposes a webserver on port 8888 on the IP address of the Docker machine (in Windows, you can do 'docker-machine ip' to determine that address).
