Hello,
I'm trying to deploy this ftp server as a POD of kubernetes
I was able to create the user etc but I could not connect with the created user/password:
e.g.
lftp bob@localhost:~> ls
ls: Login failed: 530 Login authentication failed

Somehow with docker run this works fine. I'm suspecting the PORTS bind for the POD with this container were not correct in Kubernetes. Since for the docker container the PORTS is set to: 0.0.0.0:21->21/tcp, 0.0.0.0:30000-30009->30000-30009/tcp. but not for the POD in kubernetes.
I'm wondering whether I miss something with kubernetes.

@pihomeserver I've fixed it. I believe it was because of expect 5.45-6 - replace it with python)

Hi
When trying to build an image using your Dockerfile i have an error message at step 5

tep 5 : RUN pure-pw mkdb
 ---> Running in 619e8e23da08
Unable to open the passwd file: No such file or directory
The command '/bin/sh -c pure-pw mkdb' returned a non-zero code: 2

I need to do something else ? Seems that the command needs to be executed as root
