Full Description

hotrod-jwt-proxy

Web proxy and IFrame wrapper which enables adding Json Web Token (JWT) authentication to an existing site
without changing that site (some caveats apply - see below).

The web proxy supports configurable route matching for the JWT authentication as well as an optional whitelist
of allowed URLs to forward on to the proxy target.

The IFrame wrapper hosts the original site in an IFrame and intercepts all Ajax requests coming from it.
If it detects a 401 response, it redirects to a login page. Once logged in, the IFrame wrapper will automatically
add an Authorization header to all Ajax requests matching a configurable string. So, this proxy and IFrame scheme only works for sites where the data to be secured is fetched via Ajax requests.

How to run

In the root folder, run:

bower install
npm install
npm start
