A drag-and-drop dashboard creator for Plotly graphs.

The container runs a single gunicorn process that serves dashboardsly on port 80 (including static content).

Configuration:

Configuration is done via the environment.

  • Always set: DASHBOARDSLY_PROD=1 and PLOTLY_ON_PREM=1
  • PLOTLY_USE_CONTENT_DELIVERY_NETWORKS: defaults to 1. Set to 0 if you want to load all content (fonts, 3rd party libraries, etc.) from the local container.
  • PLOTLY_DASHBOARDSLY_SSL_ENABLED: defaults to 1. Set to 0 to disable SSL. Note that SSL termination itself is handled by the fronted.
  • PLOTLY_DOMAIN: set this to the URL of your Plotly instance. Defaults to the cloud instance at https://plot.ly
  • PLOTLY_DOMAIN_API: set this to the URL of your Plotly instance. Defaults to the cloud instance at https://api.plot.ly
  • PLOTLY_DB_USER: set this to the database user of the Postgres database used to store dashboards. The user must have full access to a dashboardsly database. If it does not exist, dashboardsly will attempt to create it.
  • PLOTLY_DB_PASSWORD: set this to the database password.
  • PLOTLY_DB_HOST: set this to the hostname or IP address of the database machine.
