Short Description
Jenkins image based on pojoict/jdk
Full Description

To run this image you can use:
docker run -d -P pojoict/jenkins
-d => in daemon mode
-P => Publish all exposed ports to the host interfaces. In the Dockerfile you can see what ports are exposed. The ports on the host are defined by docker and will be different every other run.

You can use a data-container (e.g. the pojoict/data) for the /jenkins_home directory:

  1. run the data-only container (this does not need to keep running)
    docker run -v /{user-home}/{somepath}:/jenkins_home --name jenkins-data pojoict/data
  2. run the jenkins-container with the data-only container as "Volumes-from"
    docker run -d -P --volumes-from jenkins-data --name jenkins pojoict/jenkins
