#Setting up a Repository

Once you've created a repository you will initialize the repository and then setup your local and repository folder.

You will use commands that vary slightly from the commands given on the Bitbucket website.

$ mkdir /your/project/path

$ cd /your/project/path

$ git init

$ git remote add origin

$ touch Dockerfile

$ git add Dockerfile

$ git commit -m 'Initial commit with empty Dockerfile'

$ git push -u origin master

After completing the above steps you will have a functional code repository with a master branch.
