Full Description

Experimentation with graph traversals in parallel using US DOT data. This dataset allows for a weighted graph and real-world passenger data, allowing for direct comparison of my routes with the actual routes taken by passengers. However, these datasets are too large to commit to GitHub, each around 1 GB. Additonally, support for parallel computation of routes was implemented, allowing for 10x speed increase.

Version 3.0

Introduced UI for better UX and introduced many, many time optimizations. Now there is an inital setup time of ~100 seconds but on subsequent runnings of the program analysis is near instantaneous. This is due to saving the final results in parquet files, which have been commited. Placing these parquet files in the same directory as will allow you to skip first time initializations and start playing with results, without needing the original data sets.
