Short Description
An alternative firmware for routers (MediaTek MT76xx)
Full Description

padavan/rt-n56u is an alternative firmware for Asus RT WiFi routers (N56U, N65U, N14U etc.)

Docker pull

This will pull an image with padavan/rt-n56u and a built MIPSel toolchain:

$ docker pull rwanyoike/rt-n56u

Manual build

Clone and enter the repo, and execute docker build:

$ git clone
$ cd docker-rt-n56u/latest
$ docker build -t rt-n56u:latest .

The Dockerfile will clone (--depth=1) the padavan/rt-n56u repo and build the MIPSel toolchain. Building the toolchain can take some time depending on your hardware. It took ~20 minutes on a Standard A2 (2 cores, 3.5 GB memory) VM on Azure.

When we list our Docker images on the host:

$ docker images
