A base image for working with vision in ROS.
Full Description

This image contains:

  • ros indigo
  • tensorflow for deep learning
  • simplecv for nice image voodoo

The recommended way to run it is:

docker run  -v ~/projects/vision/code:/code:ro   -v ~/projects/vision/data:/data:ro -v ~/projects/vision/results:/results:rw -it shadowrobot/shadow-vision-base

This will mount:

  • the host ~/projects/vision/code folder to the /code folder in the docker instance (read only)
  • the host ~/projects/vision/data folder to the /data folder in the docker instance (read only)
  • the host ~/projects/vision/results folder to the /results folder in the docker instance (read and write)

This makes it easy to run your code from docker, while editing locally. You can obviously mount one folder only which contains the code and the data if you find it easier:

docker run  -v ~/projects/vision/code:/code:rw -it shadowrobot/shadow-vision-base
