Same problem here:

IPython.utils.traitlets.TraitError: The 'argv' trait of a JupyterHub instance must be a list, but a value of class 'NoneType' (i.e. None) was specified.

when trying to run latest with:

sudo docker run -p 8000:8000 --dns=208.67.222.222 simonbiggs/jupyter

on Ubuntu.

I'm new to docker, running it on the mac.

It should be /home/admin/ So you'll want to type something like this:

sudo docker run -p 8000:8000 -v ~/Documents:/home/admin/Documents simonbiggs/jupyter

And, you're very welcome. I still need to edit the default profile to allow the R and Julia kernel. I am also going to see if I can set up the Haskell kernel too :).

Hi Simon, what is the notebook path for the user admin? I'd like to mount a directory from the docker host to store the notebooks.
Thanks for preparing all the Jupyter container,
Matthias
