Notebook server

Base image for your own Jupyter server with Python 3.5.

This container exposes port 9999 and starts a Jupyter server via

jupyter-notebook --config=/notebooks/config.py

In config.py:

c = get_config()

c.NotebookApp.ip = '*'
c.NotebookApp.open_browser = False
c.NotebookApp.port = 9999
c.NotebookApp.notebook_dir = u'/jupyter'

Note that the Jupyter server is expecting a folder /jupyter which will contain your notebooks and scripts.
Therefore it is required to map a local folder on the host to the /jupyter folder in the container.
See the file docker-compose.yml.

The server comes with pandas, matplotlib and qgrid preinstalled. It is also using
the popular RISE package which supports giving presentations...
