1album/blackbox repository overview

1Album Blackbox is the storage backend for 1Album.

Once you add blackbox to 1Album, 1Album will upload your photos and videos to blackbox automatically to free up storage space on your phone, and download them back to the phone when you need them. If you add multiple blackboxes to 1Album, the blackboxes will synchronise with each other automatically.

1Album establishes encrypted peer-to-peer connections directly to blackbox. These connections never tunnelling through cloud services, so they are private and secure. The connections work even if both ends sit behind different NAT firewalls.

1Album is currently at the final stage of development. It will be released to the app store soon.
