#2dotstwice.be Follow these steps to get the project up and running:

Make sure your development environment is running at least PHP 5.6 and composer is installed. You also need a Node.js 8 or up to use NPM and bundle frontend assets.

⁠Install and Configure

Run the following commands to install, configure the project.

composer install;
cp config.dist.yml config.yml;
npm install;
./node_modules/.bin/encore dev

⁠Serve

You can serve the project locally using the built in PHP server or Docker.

Make sure no other projects are running on port 8000.

After you run the scripts below you should be able to visit http://2dotstwice.test:8000/⁠.

⁠Docker
docker-compose up -d;
echo '127.0.0.1 2dotstwice.test' | sudo tee -a /etc/hosts;
⁠PHP Server
php -S localhost:8000 -t web web/index.php;
echo '127.0.0.1 2dotstwice.test' | sudo tee -a /etc/hosts;

⁠Develop

⁠Styling and Scripting

Webpack is used to bundle all frontend assets.

node-sass is used to translate sass files instead of the Ruby gem. The sass imports are located at web/sass/style.scss.

The main javascript file can be found at web/js/scipt.js.

Run the following command from the root of the project to start watching javascript and styling changes:

./node_modules/.bin/encore dev --watch
