⁠Collaborative Workspace Backend API

A production-ready REST and WebSocket backend service powering a real-time collaborative workspace, document authoring, and workspace membership platform. Built using Node.js, Express, Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL, and Redis-backed WebSockets for live document synchronization.

⁠Architecture & Core Features

  • Real-Time Document Collaboration: Leverages Socket.io with Redis Pub/Sub for synchronizing concurrent document edits across clients without data loss.
  • Prisma ORM & PostgreSQL: Managed schemas and migrations with @prisma/adapter-pg connection pooling for reliable relational workspace data.
  • Access Control & Workspaces: Role-based access and token authentication for workspace access, joining via invite codes, and document ownership.
  • Docker-Optimized: Pre-configured with automatic Prisma migration runs on startup and internal network connectivity.
