⁠Mobile App Frontend Performance Docker Image

Repository slug: mobile-app-frontend-performance

This image packages the standalone frontend performance tool into a single container.

⁠What it includes

• Web UI served on port 8000
• Android flow recording support
• Android smoke test execution
• HTML report generation

⁠Prerequisites

• Docker installed
• Android device connected to host machine with USB debugging enabled
• Host adb server running

Start host adb server:

adb kill-server
adb -a nodaemon server start

Verify device:

adb devices -l

⁠Pull image

docker pull aanshuman19/mobile-app-frontend-performance:latest

⁠Run image

docker run -d \
  --name frontend-perf-unified \
  -p 8000:8000 \
  -p 8001:8001 \
  -e ADB=/usr/bin/adb \
  -e ADB_SERVER_SOCKET=tcp:host.docker.internal:5037 \
  -v "$PWD/reports:/app/reports" \
  -v "$PWD/qa_configs:/app/qa_configs" \
  aanshuman19/mobile-app-frontend-performance:latest

⁠Open app

• Frontend UI: http://localhost:8000
• API health: http://localhost:8000/api/health
• Direct backend health: http://localhost:8001/health

⁠Stop container

docker rm -f frontend-perf-unified

⁠Common notes

• On macOS, host.docker.internal lets the container talk to the host adb server.
• Reports are written to mounted reports/ directory on the host.
• qa_configs/ is mounted so custom configs remain outside the container.
• Use the exact installed Android package name in the UI.

⁠Troubleshooting

⁠1. No device detected

adb devices -l

Make sure the device is visible on host before starting the container.

⁠2. Smoke test fails with package not installed

Use the exact installed package name from the device.

⁠3. Ports already in use

Stop older containers or processes using 8000 and 8001.

⁠Suggested tags

• latest
• semantic version tags like 1.0.0, 1.0.1

⁠Example publish target
