This custom Kali Linux Docker image (kali-linux-custom:v1) is based on the official Kali Linux image and has been enhanced with essential penetration testing tools for security testing and ethical hacking.

What’s Inside the Image? We have installed the following tools to make this image ready-to-use for security research:

nmap – Network mapper for port scanning

httpx – Fast and multi-purpose HTTP probing tool

sslscan – SSL/TLS scanner

Pentesting Frameworks:

metasploit – Powerful penetration testing framework

burpsuite – Web security testing tool (GUI-ready)

nessus – Vulnerability scanner

Web & Directory Enumeration:

dirsearch – Directory brute-force scanner

curl & wget – Web request tools

Networking & Debugging:

netcat – Networking utility

net-tools – Tools like ifconfig, route, netstat

File Search & Processing:

grep, find, locate – Command-line search utilities

Python Environments:

python2.7, python3, pip installed for script execution

Go Language Installed:

Installed for supporting Go-based security tools
