This image is built from docker:20.10 which is docker-in-docker base image.
The image contains utilities like hadolint for Dockerfile linting and Trivy for scanning Docker images.
Ideally, the docker-utils images are meant for using it within a CI/CD pipeline for building docker image & performing additional operations like lining & image vulnerability scanning.
Sample usage in a CI/CD pipeline can be found here:
Currently hosted in docker hub & can be pulled by executing below command:
