This python-tool provides a simple solution to get a schedule for the rogers super sports pak and convert it to the xmltv-format.
docker run \
-d \
-e TZ="Europe/Zurich" \
-e DATE_RANGE="21" \
-e ICON="https://picon-13398.kxcdn.com/rogersca.jpg" \
-e CHANNEL_SOURCE="rog_ott_sdh_ch" \
-e USE_STATIC_CHANNELS="yes" \
-e SCRAPERAPIKEY="yourapikey" \
-v `pwd`/cron/rogers2xmltv.cron:/etc/crontab \
-v /mnt/user/appdata/rogers2xmltv:/data:rw \
-p 8000:8000 \
--name=rogers2xmltv \
abuhamsa/rogers2xmltv:latest
or
docker run \
-d \
--env-file=.env \
-v /mnt/user/appdata/rogers2xmltv:/data:rw \
-v `pwd`/cron/rogers2xmltv.cron:/etc/crontab \
-p 8000:8000 \
--name=rogers2xmltv \
abuhamsa/rogers2xmltv:latest
You can change the some defaults be setting environment variables.
sample.env should be renamed to .env and supplied through the --env-file docker run option. The .env file can also be picked up if using this in a docker compose setup.
You can now have it running as a webservice. Just set the API_MODE-Variable to True and visit ip:port/docs for more details.
The default schedule for the cronjob is set to 02:00:00 AM.
You can change the frequency by setting your own cronjob-file as volume mount at /etc/crontab
There is also an sample in rogers2xmltv.cron.sample
docker exec rogers2xmltv python /app/main.pydocker exec rogers2xmltv /cronjob.shContent type
