This is a small docker image that allows you to easily build docker images for arm on a windows machine, to use it you just need to use the command:
docker run --privileged --rm -v ABSOLUTE_PATH_TO_FOLDER_CONTAINING_YOUR_DOCKERFILE:/data actyx/windows-cross-builder
Once it finishes you will have a file called actyx-image:latest.tar.gz in the same folder as your Dockerfile which contains the built image, in order to add it to your docker instance you can run:
docker load -i actyx-image:latest.tar.gz
You can configure this image via 2 environment variables:
actyx-image:latest) determines the image tag as well as the filename of the image bundle after buildinglinux/arm64) determines the platform that the image will be built for, you can choose from: linux/amd64, linux/arm64, linux/riscv64, linux/ppc64le, linux/s390x, linux/386, linux/arm/v7, linux/arm/v6Here is an example of how to set these variables:
docker run --privileged -e IMAGE_TAG="test-image:1.0.0" -e PLATFORM="linux/arm/v7" --rm -v ABSOLUTE_PATH_TO_FOLDER_CONTAINING_YOUR_DOCKERFILE:/data actyx/windows-cross-builder
