⁠RMS Container

RMS is a open source meteor station software used in the Global Meteor Network - https://globalmeteornetwork.org/⁠

This is an experimental image that automates station setup and supports multiple stations based on configuration folder structure.

⁠Configure the system

Example of folder structure for two stations XX0001 and XX0002:

RMS_data 
     |
     + config
          |
          + XX0001
               |
               + XX0001.config
               + platepar_cmn2010.cal
               + mask.bmp
          + XX0002

               + platepar_cmn2010.cal
               + mask.bmp

⁠Execute RMS

Run the container mapping the data directory from the host to the container:

Start it using docker:

docker run -ti --security-opt label=disable -v ~/RMS_data:/root/RMS_data -p 8080:5000 adalava/rms

Start container using name "rms" and make it restart when machine restarts:

docker run -ti --restart always --name rms --security-opt label=disable -v ~/RMS_data:/root/RMS_data -p 8080:5000 adalava/rms

In the example above, a folder on host called ~/RMS_data is mapped to the container as /root/RMS_data, as expected by the entrypoint script.
