To display a Firefox browser in Ubuntu run the following commands:

xhost +local:docker

docker run --rm -e DISPLAY -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix <container ID/Name>

Note: some messages about "Failed to load module" may show, but just wait a bit for it to open Firefox.

To display a Firefox browser in Windows run the following command after setting up XLaunch and DISPLAY environment variable (https://dev.to/darksmile92/run-gui-app-in-linux-docker-container-on-windows-host-4kde⁠):

docker run -ti --rm -e DISPLAY=$DISPLAY <container ID/Name>
