This is an image for displaying the aircrafts closest to you.

It works in conjunction with ultrafeeder from sdr-enthusiasts. https://sdr-enthusiasts.gitbook.io/ads-b/⁠

The working principle is as follows:

The OLED SSD1306 display shows a list of aircrafts in order of distance from the receiver. The start-up takes place in the allowed time interval, with a set repetition in minutes.

Setup: In the .env file for ultrafeeder, add the parameters:

OLED_RADIUS=100
OLED_MEASUREMENT=km
OLED_INTERVAL=5
OLED_START_TIME=09:00
OLED_STOP_TIME=23:59
OLED_SOURCE=ultrafeeder

Where:

`OLED_RADIUS` - radius in integer from your receiver to aircraft
`OLED_MEASUREMENT` - unit of measurement (km, mi and nm are supported)
`OLED_INTERVAL` - interval at which the display will turn on and data will be collected (minutes)
`OLED_START_TIME` - time from which it is allowed to start
`OLED_STOP_TIME` - time until which it is allowed to start
`OLED_SOURCE` - data source, it could be `ultrafeeder` or `planefinder`.

If you have the feeder for planefinder (pfclient) deployed, all data can be collected from it. In the other case, ultrafeeder will be used (but the route data for each flight will be requested from an external api every time)

In docker-compose.yml from ultrafeeder in the services section add the following:

  oled:

      - TZ=${FEEDER_TZ}
      - FEEDER_LAT=${FEEDER_LAT}

      - OLED_RADIUS=${OLED_RADIUS}
      - OLED_MEASUREMENT=${OLED_MEASUREMENT}
      - OLED_INTERVAL=${OLED_INTERVAL}
      - OLED_START_TIME=${OLED_START_TIME}
      - OLED_STOP_TIME=${OLED_STOP_TIME}
      - OLED_SOURCE=${OLED_SOURCE}

Next you need to bring it up with the command:

docker compose up -d oled

In case you change the parameters in the .env file, you have to restart the container to apply them in same way:

docker compose up -d oled

The general parameters are also taken from the .env file:

FEEDER_TZ
FEEDER_LAT
FEEDER_LONG

Make sure that these are also specified.
