This repo contains code to run a crossbar router:

Here are three ways of going about it :

⁠1) Crossbar Server Deployment on remote target

With ansible installed run the command:

ansible-playbook -k -K -i inventory.yaml crossbar.yaml

-k -K instructs ansible to ask for ssh and sudo password.

⁠Notes

• Tested on clean Ubuntu 16.04.6 19/5-2020 by GP
• The remote target machine is specified in inventory.yaml
• ansible.cfg says to ignore missing remote host ssh key, in case you haven't previously had an ssh connection to it.

⁠2) Vagrant Deployment of virtual machine on local host

To run a vagrant box with crossbar running simply type:

vagrant up

⁠Notes

• Vagrant creates a VM on your local machine, and then runs the ansible instructions, installing docker, crossbar on it.
• The first time it will take some time to create the box and provision it.
• The crossbar server should then be accessible at http://localhost:8080⁠.

⁠3) Running in docker

The repo contains a docker file that has been build and pushed to gregerspoulsen/crossbar. To run a pre-configured router in docker type:

docker run --rm -it -p 8080:8080 gregerspoulsen/crossbar

• The crossbar server should then be accessible at http://localhost:8080⁠.
