⁠UnivR

This image will load RStudio Server in a Docker container and allow you to access it via a web browser. The foundation for this container was some very helpful instructions⁠ written by Dipterix, as well as some troubleshooting from Claude AI and Perplexity AI.

⁠How to Run

I suggest using the following script to start UnivR:

echo "Starting container."
echo "Open localhost:8787 to view RStudio. Username: rstudio, password: login"
echo "Files found under '/home/rstudio/working'."
CONT=$(docker run --rm -tidp 8787:8787 -v .:/home/rstudio/working alectries/univr)
docker exec -ti $CONT /bin/bash
docker kill $CONT

However, all you need to do to start the container is this:

docker run --rm -tidp 8787:8787 -v .:/home/rstudio/working alectries/univr

Then open your web browser of choice and open localhost:8787⁠. The username is rstudio and the password is login.
