This container packages relevant software which enables carrying out Structural Equation Modelling in python Jupyter environment.

This container is a reflection of my PhD research's working environment and a research project. The container aims to solve the issue of dependencies to start SEM analysis in SEMOPY. Additionally it packages relevant libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, statsmodel, matplotlib etc.

Furthermore it has a SEMOPY walk through jupyter file which is good resource for researchers.

Note: SEMOPY is a public library and walk through file is take from https://semopy.com/⁠. This container simply packages the libraries making so that researcher can focus on analysis.

Usage instruction:

To start using the jupyter notebook environment execute the following command from you work directory.

docker run -p 8888:8888 aleem1uddin/sem-python

Note: On the first run the container image is downloaded, while subsequent runs will be faster.
