This is a base Docker image for the Docker Microservices lab from my blog, for more information, please refer to http://alexandreesl.com/2016/01/08/docker-using-containers-to-implement-a-microservices-architecture/⁠

The image install Java 8 from the official image and defines a volume from which you can expose a Spring Boot's jar containing your microservice.

To run it, simply use a docker run passing as the command "-jar .jar"
