You need to subscribe to Almena Energy: https://almena.energy/.
Create a file named .env, and complete the missing information:
ALMENA_USERNAME=YOUR_EMAIL_IN_ALMENA
ALMENA_PASSWORD=YOUR_PASSWORD
MILVUS_URI=https://in03-4c78dd29b271c29.serverless.gcp-us-west1.cloud.zilliz.com
MILVUS_TOKEN=a9b6087770f30e701658093f0bd8c4f78540752c64edaa93b656b4b208a1246a3593cb5c76b9ce13628a6466c8b6d2f8754be88e
The Milvus URI and token are used to connect to a public, free, read-only vector database.
In a terminal execute:
docker run --rm \
--env-file .env \
-p 3003:3003 \
almenaenergy/mcp-server:latest
Now the server is available at http://localhost:3003/sse.
Claude does not support SSE at the moment, in such case a workaround is needed.
Create a local bridge network:
docker network create almena-network
Init the MCP server with different parameters:
docker run --rm \
--env-file .env \
--network almena-network \
--name almena-app \
-p 3003:3003 \
almenaenergy/mcp-server:latest
Use a proxy between the MCP and Claude:
docker pull ghcr.io/sparfenyuk/mcp-proxy:v0.5.1
Edit the MCP Claude configuration (https://modelcontextprotocol.io/quickstart/user):
{
"mcpServers": {
"almena-mcp": {
"command": "docker",
"args": [
"run",
"--rm",
"-i",
"--network",
"almena-network",
"ghcr.io/sparfenyuk/mcp-proxy:v0.5.1",
"http://almena-app:3003/sse"
],
"env": {}
}
}
}
