# FrostFlow Backend ❄️

This is the backend API for **FrostFlow**, powered by **FastAPI** and **SQLGlot**. It handles SQL parsing, transpilation, and Jinja2 templating to generate engineering artifacts.

This image is designed to run alongside the `frostflow-frontend`.

### 🚀 Quick Start

1.  Create a file named `docker-compose.yml` with the following content:

    **`docker-compose.yml`**
    ```yaml
    version: '3.8'

    services:
      backend:
        image: alokdekadev/frostflow-backend:v1.0.0
        container_name: frostflow_backend
        ports:
          - "8000:8000"
        environment:
          - PORT=8000
          - ALLOWED_ORIGINS=*
        restart: unless-stopped

      frontend:
        image: alokdekadev/frostflow-frontend:v1.0.0
        container_name: frostflow_frontend
        ports:
          - "3000:80"
        depends_on:
          - backend
        restart: unless-stopped
    ```

2.  Run the application:
    ```bash
    docker-compose up -d
    ```

### ⚡ Features
- **SQL Parsing**: Validates and formats SQL using SQLGlot.
- **Artifact Generation**: Creates dbt models, properties files, and Airflow DAGs.
- **Lineage Extraction**: Detects source tables and columns automatically from SQL.
