aludosan/toward-data-science repository overview

This is a Docker image for data science based on evhneyi image (docker pull evheniy/docker-data-science) plus some other data-science related additions.

The image is fairly big (~ 8 GiB, 3 GiB compressed)

More cores and memory needed to really run (I used 24 GB memory and 8 to 16 cores)

It's based on:

• Latest ubuntu (18.04 LTS)
• Anaconda from https://repo.anaconda.com/archive/⁠ (Anaconda3-2020.07-Linux-x86_64.sh)
• tzdata
• texlive-xetex (useful for converting notebooks to other formats such as pdf)
• emacs ;-)

Includes:

• tensorflow,
• keras
• lightgbm
• osa
• xgboost
• catboost

Runs Jupyter notebook/lab
