amibotuser/github-env-manager repository overview

GitHub Environment Manager

A modern, web-based tool for managing GitHub environment variables and secrets across multiple repositories and environments. Built with Go and featuring a beautiful, responsive UI.

Why This Tool?

GitHub's web UI restricts environment variables/secrets editing to admin users only, even though users with write access can manage them via GitHub API. This tool provides a web interface that works with the GitHub API, allowing write-access users to manage environment variables and secrets without requiring admin permissions.

  • 🔑 Variables & Secrets - Manage repository and environment-level variables and secrets
  • 🔄 Sync & Compare - Sync variables between environments and compare configurations
  • 📤 Export/Import - Export variables as .env files and import from existing configurations
  • 🌐 Real-time Updates - WebSocket support for live updates
