Ancora Jenkins: ancorasoftware/jenkins
This is a customized jenkins/jenkins image with select plugins preinstalled and parameterized configuration.
Features
This image provides the following features:
- LDAP integation
- RBAC
- Kubernetes integation via the Kubernetes plugin for Jenkins
Using this image
This image can be launched as follows:
docker run --name <your-container-name> -d -p 8081:8081 -e LDAP_ENABLED=false ancorasoftware/nexus:VERSION
Volumes
This image stores all data, including plugins and configuration, in the /var/jenkins_home directory.
That should be made an explicit volume so that it can be managed and attached to another container for backup and upgrades:
docker run --name <your-container-name> -d -v $(pwd)/jenkins-data:/var/jenkins_home -p 8080:8080 -p 50000:50000 ancorasoftware/jenkins:VERSION
Configuration
All configuration is specified through environment variables, unless otherwise noted. The exception to this policy is credentials/secrets which are always specified as volume mounts in accordance with best practices.
This image supports the following environment variables:
